Specialize Education for a Specialized Ministry

Our Ministry Certificate program is a specialized education for a specialized ministry. We offer four different Ministry Certificates and each of them will educate and equip you for a particular service in the Church or in the community. In an hour and a half you can earn a Ministry Certificate in Grief Support, Dementia Care, Hospice Care, Mental Health First Aide, Care For Souls and Care for Aging Adults. MINISTRY CERTIFICATE IN CARE FOR AGING ADULTS

A Ministry Certificate in care for Aging Adults can be earned an hour and half online workshop which will focus on:

* Spirituality of aging adults

* Spiritual Needs of Aging Adults

*Spiritual Assessment for Aging Adults

*Spiritual Interventions

*Spiritual Care for Aging Adults

Students who complete the training will receive a Graduate Certificate in Care for Aging Adults which will equip them to serve seniors in and outside the Church

MINISTRY CERTIFICATE IN GRIEF SUPPORT

A Ministry Certificate in Grief Support can be achieved an hour and a half online workshop which will emphasize the following:
* the symptoms, behaviors, cognitions of grief
* grief principles
* grief counseling techniques
* the mourning process
*healing during the holidays
Students who finish the training will earn a Certificate of Ministry to the Grieving.

MINISTRY CERTIFICATE IN HOSPICE CARE

A Ministry in Hospice Care can be achieved an hour and a half online workshop where we will discuss:
* Multidimensional Spiritual Assessment
* Spiritual Interventions
*Spiritual Care
*Practical ministerial tips
Students who complete the workshop will earn a Graduate Certificate in Hospice Care

MINISTRY CERTIFICATE IN DEMENTIA CARE

A Ministry Certificate Dementia Care will be given when one completes the one and a half hour online workshop. Students will be educated about:

the brain and normal aging

* the symptoms and behaviors of Alzheimer and Dementia patients

* the GEMS in dementia patients

* physically assisting dementia patients

* spiritually assisting dementia patients
